Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will introduce challenging new subspecies of existing monsters for hunters to take on.
Capcom has released a new gameplay video for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, showcasing a number of new subspecies monsters - variants of existing monsters with new attributes, posing an even greater challenge to hunters.
Two of the new subspecies in the trailer are the lightning-using Fulgur Anjanath and the wyvern Ebony Odogaron, as well as Glavenus, a fiery foe with a sweeping sword-like tail.
Iceborne will also feature the Seliana home base, an area in Hoarfrost Reach which includes a new gathering hub, smithy, and My Room, which allows players to customise their own rooms - and, after a post-launch update, visit other players' rooms too.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne launches on 6 September.
