Monster Hunter World: Iceborne details and release date revealed

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will include new features and a new story expansion when it launches for consoles on 6 September.
Revealed as part of a Monster Hunter World: Iceborne broadcast, the Iceborne expansion will be set in Hoarfrost Reach, a new location not previously seen in Monster Hunter: World.
The snowy region will be the game's largest and will feature a new storyline, new quests - more than in the base game - new monsters, new combos and elements for existing weapons. and the Master Rank difficulty for quests.
Alongside the new elder dragon Velkhana - seen on the expansion's key imagery - new monsters such as Banboro and Beotodus join the returning Nargacuga, all of whom are native to Hoarfrost Reach.
Iceborne will be available from 6 Septemberas a standalone expansion to Monster Hunter: World, costing $39.99 or €39.99, while a new retail package including the base game and Iceborne expansion will launch on the same day for $59.99 or €59.99.
In addition, a free Monster Hunter: World trial is now available to PlayStation 4 owners until 20 May, with saved progress transferable to the full game.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be featured at E3 2019 next month.
