15 February 2019 – by Jack Dawson Taylor
Super Mario Maker 2, the follow-up to the Wii U and 3DS hit, has been announced for a June release on Nintendo Switch.
Announced at the start of the February 2019 Nintendo Direct, Super Mario Maker 2 includes more tools, enemies, and visual styles than its predecessor.
Slopes have been added after being much requested for the original, while a new Super Mario 3D World visual option has been added alongside many enemies and tools from the game, including the Bell, which transforms Mario into Cat Mario.
More changes can be seen in the trailer below, including the ability to add a customisable auto-scroll to levels.
Super Mario Maker 2 launches for Nintendo Switch this June.
