Ys: Memories of Celceta to be remastered for PlayStation 4
12 December 2019 – by Jack Taylor
A remastered version of the PS Vita title Ys: Memories of Celceta has been announced for a spring 2020 release on PlayStation 4.
Officially considered the fourth game in the Ys series chronology, Ys: Memories of Celceta was originally released for the PlayStation Vita in 2012 in Japan, before later making its way overseas, and more recently to PC via Steam.
Taking place in the world of Celceta - described by developer Falcom as one of the largest worlds in the series - the story revolves around Adol Christin, who awakens with amnesia in the village of Casnan and must search out clues to his identity.
The PlayStation 4 version of the game will include dual audio, with both English and Japanese voices available - and a future update to the PC version of the game will also include this option.
Ys: Memories of Celceta will launch in physical and digital formats on PlayStation 4 in Q2 2020, published by Marvelous in PAL regions and XSEED Games in North America.
